This English edition was edited by A. H. Keane. Volume I covers the earth while volume II discusses the world's oceans.
Bound in a beautifully decorative cloth.
When rebound, this work has been arranged in a slightly different order, with the plates appearing to the start of each volume, not ordered, and the contents pages appearing to the rear of volume II and IV.
Condition
Bound in decorative cloth. Externally, lovely, with light rubbing to the extremities and joints and the odd mark. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean, with the odd light spot, mainly to end pages. When rebound, this work has been arranged in a slightly different order, with the plates appearing to the start of each volume, not ordered, and the contents pages appearing to the rear of volume II and IV.
