Illustrated, Leather Binding

Important Irish author Oliver Goldsmith (1728-1774) was a writer of both fiction, poetry and non-fiction. His writings include his celebrated novel, 'The Vicar of Wakefield', as well as biographical and historical works such as 'A History of the Earth and Animated Nature', 'The Life of Richard Nash', 'Account of the Augustan Age in England', and 'The History of England, from the Earliest Times to the Death of George II'.

This work comprises 'The Vicar of Wakefield', Miscellaneous Poems, 'She Stoops to Conquer' and 'The Good-natured Man'.

Illustrated with in-text engravings.

Condition

In a half calf binding. Externally generally smart, with some wear to the spine resulting in a little loss at the head and tail, as well as some slight bumping to extremities. Internally, generally firmly bound. Front hinge is starting after the endpaper, but still firm. Pages are a little spotted, but generally bright.
