Edwin Beresford Chancellor (1868–1937) was a prolific historian of London and the Thames Valley, known for his well-illustrated studies of London boroughs, historic houses, and royal residences.

Condition

In a quarter straight grain morocco binding with cloth boards. Slight rubbing and bumping to extremities resulting in slight loss to cloth and morocco. Slight rubbing and fading to spine. Slight offsetting to endpapers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean if slightly age toned with one or two spots to first and last few leaves and fore edge. Light scattered spotting to pages 176-200.
