Condition

In the publisher's original cloth bindings. Externally, generally very smart. Slight rubbing and bumping to extremities. The odd spot and fading to extremities of the off copy. Offsetting to endpapers. The odd handling mark to boards. Copies of Collectanea a little more worn that other copies, with discolouration to spines and extremities, and heavier rubbing to spines, but sound. Bookplate Ex libris Surrey Archaeological Society to front paste down of “Collectanea: Second Series” and “First Series”, with a stamp from the same to verso of title page. Internally, firmly bound. Pages generally bright and clean with one or two handling marks and spots heavier to first and last few leaves and fore edges.
