With a portrait frontispiece. A select collection of the letters of Percy Bysshe Shelley, an English writer considered one of the major English Romantic poets. A radical in his poetry as well as in his political and social views, Shelley did not achieve fame during his lifetime, but recognition of his achievements grew steadily following his death. He became an important influence on subsequent generations of poets. Edited with an introduction from Richard Garnett, a scholar, librarian, biographer, poet and astrologer who was keeper of printed books at British Museum. Bound by Zaehnsdorf.

Bound in full calf. Externally, smart with light rubbing to the extremities and the odd small mark to the boards. Light fading to the spine with minor loss to the head of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot. Light spotting to the first and last few pages. Bound by Zaehnsdorf.
