Scarce. In the publisher's original green cloth binding.

With lithographic plates including a frontispiece, a folding map, ten further plates and four pages of publisher's advertisements to the rear. Collated, complete.

A scarce work aimed at providing insight into the manufacture of Eastern carpets, including the distribution and trading route between the Middle East and Europe.

Condition

In the original publisher's green cloth binding. Externally, very good. Slight bumping to the extremities, causing minor folding to cloth at head and tail of the spine. Marks to front board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean with occasional spotting in the first and last pages.
