A very scarce limited edition, one of 250 copies printed on demy 8vo.
A wonderful collection of Middle English verse romances, viewed as a 'remarkably accurate production for its day' by H. A. Burd.

Condition
In half morocco signed bindings, with marbled paper to boards. A touch of rubbing to raised bands and back strip head and tail, otherwise externally excellent.
