A Victorian travel work documenting the state of Siberia in the late nineteenth century. An intriguing look into Siberia.

Written by Henry Lansdell, a Church of England priest and explorer. During his travels he was viewed with some suspicion, as he handed out bibles across Siberia.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Bumping to back strip head and tail, with a small region of damp staining to the head of the rear joint. Handling marks to perimeters of front board. Front hinge strained, but firmly held. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright, with light spotting and the odd instance of foxing throughout.
