Illustrated with a portrait frontispiece depicting Tennyson.

Poet Laureate for most of Queen Victoria's reign, Tennyson is now considered one of England's greatest poets, with his most familiar poems being 'The Lady of Shalott', and 'The Charge of the Light Brigade', and 'In Memoriam, A. H. H.'.

Condition

In a signed morocco binding, with extensive gilt detailing to back strips and board perimeters. Externally, exceptional. Two small areas of rubbing to the back strip head, resulting in minor losses to the leather. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
