'Rhyme? And Reason' is a collection of Carroll's poetical works. Of the seventeen included works, "Echoes", "A Game of Fives", the last three of the "Four Riddles", and "Fame's Penny-Trumpet", are published for the first time. The work includes Carroll's longest poem 'Phantasmagoria' and the highly popular work 'The Hunting of the Snark'.

Illustrated with a frontispiece, sixty-five vignette and full page illustrations by Arthur B. Frost, and nine vignette and full page illustrations by Henry Holiday.

Collated, complete.

With an advertisement leaf to the rear.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Boards bright. Bumping to back strip head and tail, with back strip age toned. Hinges strained, but firmly held. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
