A very scarce volume of health lectures from the 'Health Lectures for the People' series. 

Issued by the Manchester and Salford Sanitary Association, to aid in promotion of sanitary improvements. 

In the publisher's original decorative cloth binding, with gilt. 

Delivered in Manchester from 1875-1878, these lectures cover a range of topics related to causes of disease, indigestion, domestic hygiene, adulteration of food, and more. 

With authors such as Daniel Noble, Arthur Ransome, Henry Simpson and John Haddon.

Condition

In the original decorative cloth binding. Externally, smart. Darkening to the spine and rubbing and bumping to the extremities, notably to the spine head and tail. Marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with marks and light spotting to the endpapers.
