    The first edition of the work. Prize binding for Elizabeth College, Guernsey, with bookplate to front paste down. In a signed Bickers binding. A thorough cyclopaedia edited by William Heaton, illustrated with demonstrative vignette illustrations throughout.

    Condition

    In a full calf binding with gilt crest to front board. Externally generally smart. Slight rubbing to extremities. Marks to the boards. Loss to spine label. Bookplate to front paste down. Internally firmly bound. Pages generally bright and clean, with the odd spot, heavier to the first and last few pages. Minor age toning to the extremities. Bookseller blind stamp to front blank.
