The eighth edition of this poem from British textile designer, writer, and artist William Morris.

A retelling of the ancient Greek myth of the hero Jason and his quest to find the Golden Fleece, Morris first published the work in 1867 at his own expense.

The work was immediately well received, prompting the quick publication of further editions.

With a twenty-eight page publisher's catalogue to the rear, dated July 1888.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Bumping to back strip head and tail, with paper spine label age toned. Hinges strained, and a touch tender. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
