Including works on the Tel-E-Yadoudeh Jewish mound and the monuments of the Hittites, the work contains plates, diagrams and fold-outs throughout, offering an interesting insight into religious archaeology of the nineteenth century. There is no title page to this volume.
Condition
Rebound in half-calf binding with gilt detailing. Externally quite smart, there is some wear to the boards, joints, extremities and backstrip. Internally, the pages are firmly bound and are bright and clean throughout.
