    Description

    Colour Plates, Illustrated, Leather Binding, Rebound

    This volume contains the weekly magazine Chatterbox from November 1880 to November 1881, containing twenty six issues. 

    Chatterbox was on of the most popular magazines for children during the Victorian period and was founded in 1866, the magazines contain short stories, articles and short fiction. 

    With a colour frontispiece and many in-text illustrations.

    Condition

    Rebound in half calf with cloth covered boards. Externally, generally smart with some rubbing to the extremities and spine and some loss to the head of the spine also some splitting to the front joint. Internally, firmly bound with generally bright and clean pages with a mark to the frontispiece.
