Comprised of a collection of articles surrounding farming and rural life, with the papers first appearing in 'The Standard' newspaper.
With four pages of publisher's advertisements to the rear of volume II.
Condition
Bound in the publisher's original pictorial cloth. Externally, very smart, with light rubbing to extremities and joints and the odd mark to cloth, heavier to the rear of volume II. One or two spots to the fore edge and end pages. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean. Ink inscription of Mrs. Alfred Bell to the front blank.
