    Illustrated with folding map frontispieces to all, with 'Salisbury' being in colour. 

    A three volumes set. 

    Three volumes from the 'Diorcesan Histories' series, providing historical accounts of the Dioceses of Norwich, Durham and Salisbury. A Diocese is a district under the control of the Bishop. 

    In the publisher's original cloths.

    Publisher's advertisements to the rear. 

    Condition

    In the publisher's original cloth. Externally, two volumes very smart with slight fading to the spines and minor rubbing to the extremities, 'Norwich' is sound with damp staining to the boards and tail of the spine and slight bumping to the extremities. Hinges starting but firm to 'Salisbury'. Internally firmly bound with spotting to the front and rears, with only the odd spot throughout. Owner's stamp to the title page to 'Norwich'.
