In the publisher's original very scarce blue cloth variant.
Illustrated by T. Pym with a frontispiece, headpieces, tailpieces, illuminated letters and vignettes.
This charming work was written by Emily Brodie and tells the story of a terrier called Rough. The work is written from the point of view of Rough as he reminisces on his life from his first days as a puppy to his life with his new family.

Condition
In the publisher's original cloth. Externally very smart with fading to the spine and the extremities of the front board, marks to the boards, bumping to the extremities and very small closed tears and very minor loss to the cloth to the head and tail of the spine. Front hinge weak and rear starting with initials of a past owner in ink to the front free endpaper and the odd minor mark. Internally binding starting and cords showing in places with generally bright pages and the odd spot. A closed tear to the extremities of the contents page.
