Folding Plates, Illustrated, Scarce

With 77 construction plates, drawn to scale measurements and other illustrations, including two folding plates. Both Alfred and Charles Lock were chemical engineers who wrote several informative works on the subject, and contributed to various scientific publications.

Condition

In a black cloth binding. Externally, a trifle rubbed with cockling and bumping to the front board. Book slightly cocked. Slight splitting at cloth to joints. Tidemarks to front pastedown and endpapers. Binders label to the rear pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with just the odd spot to the first and last few pages. Ink signature to half title.
