Written by Anthony Trollope, an English novelist and civil servant of the Victorian era. The Chronicles of Barsetshire is a series of six novels originally published between 1855 and 1867. They are set in the fictional English county of Barsetshire and concern the dealings of the clergy and the gentry, as well as the political, amatory, and social maneuvrings among them.
Condition
In the publisher's original decorative cloth. Externally, smart with the odd mark to the board, shelf wear to extremities and bumping to heads and tails of spines. Minor loss and fraying to head and tail of Framley Parsonage vol spine. Internally, mostly firmly bound. First few leaves loose to The Last Chronicle of Barset Volume II. Front and rear hinges strained to Framley Parsonage, The Warden Volume I and Last Chronicle of Barset Volume II. Pages age toned and the odd spot, heavier to the first and last few.
