Wallace documented thousands of specimens of which he recollects in this work, as well as detailed commentaries of the physical and human geography of the regions.

Condition

In the original green cloth binding. Externally, smart, with rubbing to the extremities and marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with the occasional spot and a contemporary ink inscription to the half title page.
