Written by John Keble, an English Anglican priest and poet who was one of the leaders of the Oxford Movement.
Condition
In the original full calf binding. Externally, smart with minor rubbing to the extremities. Minor fading to the spine and board edges. Internally, firmly bound. Front hinge just starting but firm. Pages are very bright and clean with light spotting to the first and last few pages. Contemporary ink inscription to the front endpaper with previous owner's bookplate to the front pastedown.
