    Illustrated with a folding frontispiece map of the world. Collated complete. 

    This work was translated and abridged from the original work from Arthur Von Studnitz by Mrs Brewer, with a preface and additional notes by Edwin W. Streeter. This work features the legal regulations for the standards of gold and silver in numerous countries, including Spain, Italy, Great Britain, France and Sweden.

    Condition

    In the publisher's original cloth. Externally very smart with marks to the boards, predominantly to the rear, front joint starting with closed tears to the cloth to the head, tail and middle of the joint, bumping to the extremities with small closed tears to the head and tail of the spine. Light offsetting to the free endpapers. Internally firmly bound with cords showing occasionally. Pages generally bright with the odd minor mark and spot.
