Edition with tunes. Scarce work. A collection of Methodist hymns split into four parts, with the original musical scores for each hymn. Includes a new supplement of selected psalms, hymns to adoration, and hymns for various seasons and occasions split into a further nine parts. Includes twelve pages of blank musical sheets, an index to the hymns, as well as an index to the tunes. Written by John Wesley, an English cleric, theologian, and evangelist who was a principal leader of a revival movement within the Church of England known as Methodism.
Condition
Rebacked with the original full cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Light fading to the spine and board edges with the odd small mark. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot and light age toning to the extremities.
