A very scarce copy of the 1876 Peter Parley annual.

In the publisher's original decorative cloth. 

Illustrated with a colour frontispiece, ornamental title page, and seven additional colour plates. Plate titled Mullins, "The Sap" is bound to facing page 19 instead of 11. Collated, complete. 

A delightful children's annual offering a collection of short stories, poetry, and articles on friendship, flags, the village of Eyam and more.  

With four leaves of publisher's advertisements to the rear.

Condition

In the original decorative cloth binding. Externally, with bumping and slight rubbing to the extremities, most notable to the spine head and tail. Loss to the spine label and fading to the front board title. Internally, with plate facing page 75 detached, but present. Otherwise firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
