In the publisher's original cloth binding with decorative blind stamping.

With two leaves of publisher's advertisements to the rear.

Published under the pseudonym "Cavendish", which belongs to English writer Henry Jones, who was an authority on whist and other card games, tennis and other lawn games.

The work lays out the rules of the card games Loo, Vingt-et-un and various types of poker.

Condition

In the original cloth binding. Externally, with minor shelf wear and a few marks to the boards, otherwise very smart. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean with the odd spot, heaviest to the endpapers.
