Previously owned by Ambrose Heal with his bookplate to the front pastedown. Heal was an English furniture designer, best known for being the chairman of Heal's (Heal & Son), the British furniture company. 

In the publisher's original cloth. 

A topographical and historical account of the Parish of Saint Pancras in London by Frederick Miller. The work covers topics such as Saint Pancras' ancient history, religion and manors, the monuments, and noted inhabitants.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth. Externally, damp staining and minor cockling to the fore edge of the boards, front joint starting at the head, with light edge wear, including very small closed tears to the head and tail of the spine. Bookplate of 'Ambrose Heal' to the front pastedown, with hinges starting. Internally firmly bound with bright pages with light spotting throughout, heavier to the front and rear.
