Handsomely bound in quarter morocco prize binding for Lycee St. Louis, with a prize bookplate to the front free-endpaper: 'Universite de France, Lycee Saint-Louis (Ancien College d'Harcourt), Classe de Cinquieme, Prix d'Exemptions, accorde a l'Eleve Spiers, Paris, le 14 Juin, 1874'.

Condition

In quarter morocco prize binding with decorative cloth covered boards. Externally, lovely, with just a small amount of rubbing to the spine and a small amount of shelf wear to the rear board. Prize bookplate to the front free-endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. A couple spots to the first few pages, but otherwise pages are bright and clean throughout.
