    A biographical work published in memorial for the life of John Stuart Mill, the celebrated philosopher. The work is comprised of twelve sketches on the life of Mill, written by the likes of Herbert Spencer and Henry Fawcett. 

    Condition

    In the publisher's original cloth. Externally very smart with fading to the spine, very minimal closed tears to the head and tail of the spine, and bumping to the extremities. Front hinge cracked but firm. Internally firmly bound with bright pages with light spotting throughout. Heavier to the front and rear.
