What Our Customers Say...
Description
First Edition, Folding Plates, Very Scarce
The first edition of this very scarce work in the original cloth binding, with the family crests in gilt to the front board.
Ink inscription to the front free end paper. Ink inscriptions to pages 8, 17, 18, 23, 26, and 29, and colour pencil to pages 13 to 29, from a previous owner who has added further information concerning family history.
An interesting genealogical work with a folding pedigree. The Branfill family of Upminster Hall were prominent landowners in Upminster for over two hundred years from 1685, with marriages of the women of the family joining the Branfills and Harrisons - a fellow Upminster family - together.
