    First Edition, Leather Binding, Original Binding, Uncommon

    The first edition. 

    Bound in full stamped calf with a blind stamped cross to the front board. 

    A miniature calendar of Christian lessons intended to be read in church throughout the year at mattins and evensong services. The work provides passages for important services such as Advent, Christmas and Easter.

    Condition

    Bound in full blind stamped calf. Externally smart with rubbing to the extremities, joints and raised bands, fading to the spine, and a closed tear to the leather to the head of the spine and minimal loss to the tail. Handling marks to the endpapers. Internally firmly bound with lightly age toned and generally clean with spotting to the front and rear.
