Condition

Rebacked, in the publisher's original cloth bindings, with back strips laid down, and endpapers renewed. Externally, excellent. Front hinges strained, with half titles and frontispieces tenderly held. Otherwise, internally generally firmly bound, with one plate detached and loosely inserted. Inscriptions to title page heads. Pages clean and bright. Instances of minor tape repairs to closed tears at fore edges of leaves.
