Bound in paper-covered boards.
All four articles are written by English theologian and author, William George Ward, who was appointed editor of the Dublin Review between 1863 and 1878.
Ward largely wrote articles on free will, the philosophy of theism and on science and prayer. He opposed liberal Catholicism and defended papal authority, while also carrying on a controversial correspondence with John Stuart Mill.

Condition
Bound in paper-covered boards. Externally, excellent, with light shelf wear only. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, with just the odd spot.
