    Illustrated, Leather Binding, Original Binding, Publishers' Original Binding

    Illustrated with an engraved title page and numerous in-text images. A collection of the poetry of William Cowper, an English poet and Anglican hymnwriter. With titles including: Table Talk, The Progress of Error, Truth, Hope, and Charity, amongst others. With a biographical and critical introduction from Thomas Dale, a British priest in the Church of England, poet and theologian.

    Condition

    Bound in full tolled crushed morocco. Externally, smart with rubbing to the extremities and light fading to the spine as is common with green leather. The odd small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot or split to the page edges. Light age toning and spotting to the first and last few pages.
