Illustrated with a sepia photographic portrait frontispiece.
A first hand account of the historic Battle of Waterloo between The French Imperial Army under Napoleon and the British army led by The Duke of Wellington. The account was written by Lieutenant Frederick Hope Pattison from his letters to his grandchildren, being part of the 33rd regiment of the Duke of Wellington's army.
Bound in full crushed morocco, re-backed. Endpapers renewed.

Bound in full crushed morocco, re-backed. Endpapers renewed. Externally generally smart with rubbing to the extremities and marks to the boards. Internally firmly bound with bright and generally clean pages with light spotting to the front. Author's inscription to the dedication page.
