Originally these lectures were delivered in Huddersfield but were requested to be put into book form. The lectures seen in this edition are the revised essays from the fourth edition with small changes added.
Originally published in cloth this copy has been rebound in leather. The half titles have been discarded.
Condition
Bound in a full calf binding. Externally fairly smart. Rubbing to the boards, spine and joints resulting in loss. Cracking the the front joint. Light marks to the boards. Internally firmly bound. Half title discarded. Endpapers renewed. Spotting to the first and last pages but pages generally bright and clean. The occasional annotation.
