Volume XIV from the Third Series of 'Guy's Hospital Reports', a medical journal of clinical practice published by Guy's Hospital London. This periodical ran from 1836 to 1974 and included numerous case studies and reports, as Guy's Hospital is widely recognised as a teaching hospital.
This volume includes numerous articles on topics like transfusion, thrombosis, binocular vision, throat wounds, splenic tumours, ovarian cysts, and more.

Condition
Rebacked in quarter cloth with the original cloth laid down to the spine and the original paper covered boards. Externally, shelf wear and some marks to the boards, and bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. A sticker to the head of the front board, and slight darkening to the paper covered boards. Library stamps to the title page. Internally, generally firmly bound. A small closed tear to the front free-endpaper at the gutter. Light spotting to the first and last few pages, but remaining pages are generally clean.
