This collection contains the calendars for the years 1869-70, 1880, 1888, 1897, 1898, 1899, 1900, 1901, 1902, 1905, 1906, 1913, 1916, 1917, 1919-20, and 1920-21. Containing part one only for volumes 1869-70, 1880, and 1888. With parts one and two bound into volumes for 1897, 1898, 1899, 1900, 1901, 1902, 1905, 1906, 1913, 1906, 1917, 1919-20, and 1920-21. Produced by the secretary of the Jockey Club for Austria, an enterprise for horse racing and the breeding of Austrian thoroughbreds in the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
Condition
Bound in paper covered boards. Externally, sound with rubbing and light bumping to the extremities. Light chipping to the board edges with the odd small mark to the boards. Minor loss and the odd small closed tear to the head and tails of the spines with cracks in to paper to the joints. Light loss of the occasional split label with cracks to the spines. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot. Light age toning to the extremities. With a contemporary ink stamp to the front endpaper.
