A delightful seven volume collection of works from Tennyson, uniformly bound in full morocco.

Alfred Tennyson, 1st Baron Tennyson, was the Poet Laureate during much of Queen Victoria's reign, and is remembered for such works as 'Claribel', 'The Charge of the Light Brigade', and 'In Memoriam'.

Published between 1869 and 1872, present here are: 'Enoch Arden, Etc.'; 'Maud'; 'In Memoriam'; 'Idylls of the King'; 'The Princess'; 'Poems', and 'Gareth and Lynette'.

Five volumes retain the original half title, while 'Arden' and 'Maud' lack the half title.

Condition

In full morocco bindings. Back strips age toned, with light rubbing to joints. Small ink marks to front boards of two volumes. Lacking a front blank to each volume, and lacking the half title to two volumes. Internally, firmly bound. Foxing to first and last few leaves, with further instances of spotting throughout.
