This very scarce botanical work was written by Joseph Tom Burgess and provides a study on English flowers, covering how they grown, how to identify them and descriptions on the many varieties.

Condition

In the publisher's original pictorial boards. Externally worn with front joint weak and rear starting, sunning to the spine, bumping and wear to the extremities, and slight loss to the spine label. Offsetting to the endpapers. Internally, title page tender, otherwise firmly bound. Pages lightly age toned and generally clean with only the odd spot, heavier to the rear.
