Early edition. Dated using the British Library. Illustrated with twenty-three plates printed in oil colours. Collated missing frontispiece. Including: Sing a Song o' Sixpence, The Robin's Christmas Eve, Robin Hood & his Merry Men, and The Sea Side. Written by Laura Valentine, under the pen name Aunt Louisa, a Victorian English writer known for her children's literary series. Illustrated by Kronheim and Dalziels.

Condition

In the original green cloth binding. Externally, worn with bumping and rubbing to the extremities. Some loss to the cloth on the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with light age toning. Frontispiece and title page have been removed.
