Bound in half leather with marbled paper to the boards. 

This collection features poetry from some of the most celebrated English writers, such as William Shakespeare, William Cowper, Thomas Gray, Thomas Campbell and John Milton. The collection was put together for the use of 'Charterhouse School', a historic and prestigious public school.

Condition

Bound in half calf with marbled paper to the boards. Externally generally smart with rubbing to the extremities and joints, fading to the spines, minor rubbing to the boards and closed tears to the leather to the head of the spine. Blind stamp to the front free endpaper. Internally firmly bound with age toned and generally clean pages with the odd spot to the front and rear and ink inscriptions to the front blanks.
