This work by Henry Morford describes the Paris Exposition Universelle of 1867. It provides a detailed account of the exposition and its various attractions, as well as other Parisian excursions, through the perspective of an English journalist (Morford).

With twenty-three pages of original publisher's advertisements to the rear of the work.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth. Externally, smart with shelf wear to the extremities and joints. Bumping and chipping of cloth to spine head and tail. The odd mark to the boards. Front hinge starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean but age toned with heavy spotting mostly to first and last few leaves, the odd spot throughout. With twenty-three pages of original publisher's advertisements to the rear of the work. Contemporary ink inscription to front free end paper.
