Condition
In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, generally smart. Rubbing and bumping to extremities, occasionally resulting in loss to the cloth, particularly at the spine. Slight loss at head of spine. The odd mark and slight rubbing to boards. Front free end paper missing. Spotting and the odd handling mark to endpapers. Hinges somewhat worn, with rear hinge is coming loose. A couple of spots of damp staining to rear endpapers. Internally, generally firmly bound, though rear hinge is coming loose. Previous owner's ink inscription to first leaf. Pages typically age toned, with faint scattered handling marks. The odd spot, heavier to first and last few leaves and fore edge.
