    With eleven full-page hand-coloured plates, and further monochrome illustrations throughout. Collated, complete.

    A beautifully bound well-illustrated copy of a study of woodland creatures. 

    Contains four pages of original publisher's advertisements to the rear of the work.

    Condition

    In the publisher's original red cloth binding with gilt decoration. Externally, smart with bumping to extremities and handling marks to boards. Bumping to spine head and tail. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright with marginal age toning and the odd spot, heavier to the first and last few pages. Contemporary ink inscription to top right front free endpaper.
