First edition. Scarce work. Illustrated with a frontispiece, a folding map to the front of the text, and many in-text images. Collated complete. A guide to Palestine for young Christians, with chapters on the land, the tribe of Judah, the tribe of Ephraim, the tribe of Levi, as well as the nations and divisions of the land. Written by Andrew Alexander Bonar, a minister of the Free Church of Scotland. Dated from the National Library of Scotland.

Condition

In the original green cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. Light fading to the spine with the odd small mark to the boards. Hinges starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd spot or handling mark. Light age toning to the endpapers.
