A vanishingly scarce children's book containing a fairy tale, 'The Three Buttons'. 

In the publisher's original boards. 

This quirky and very scarcely known fairy tale is without a credited author and tells the story of a young girl who saves a cat's life. The cat turns out to be a fairy princess and offers three wishes as her appreciation. 

Illustrated with six colour plates. Collated, complete. 

With a tipped in letter presenting the book as a gift for the recipient's lecture at the Woking NADFAS, dated 1996.

Condition

In the publisher's original boards. Externally, hinges are tender. With rubbing to the extremities, with the spine binding exposed. Marks to the boards. Internally, binding is tender. Pages are generally bright and clean, with the odd spot.
