Written by "Cecil" or Cornelius Tongue, a British sport writer. With the publisher's catalogue to the rear.
Condition
In the original red cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine and board edges with the odd small mark to the boards. Minor loss of the cloth to the head and tail of the spine with a small split in the cloth to the rear joint. Joints starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with light spotting to the foredge. Minor age toning and spotting to the endpapers with residue of a removed bookplate to the front pastedown.
