    Description

    Very Scarce

    In half morocco with 'Blenheim House School' in gilt to front board. 

    Fifty four pages of handwritten mathematical exercises, predominantly focused upon the working out of compound interest across a variety of different exercises.

    Examples include 'What is the compound interest of £5.10.6 for 5 years, 7 months and 15 days, at 5 per cent per annum' and 'What is the discount of £275.10 for 7 months at 5 per cent'. What follows is a longhand summation of each question, showing working out and the final answer. 

    Written by Master Thompson, master and curator at Blenheim House School.

    Condition

    In half morocco. Externally worn, with lifting to lower extremity of backstrip. Rubbing to joints and extremities. Rear free endpaper is detached but present. Hinges strained. Marks to boards. Internally firmly bound. Handling marks and the odd spot, heavier to the first and last few pages.
