Written by Rev. Thomas Arthur Preston, who was a botanist and distinguished scholar of Emmanuel College, Cambridge.
Illustrated with a double-paged photographic map frontispiece. Collated, complete.
Condition
Bound in the publisher's original green cloth. Externally, very smart, with light rubbing to joints and extremities. Light bumping to spine and extremities, with a horizontal closed tear to the head of the spine. Front hinge is a little strained, but holding firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright, with ink annotations mainly consisting of crosses and dashes, from a previous owner.
